The term ‘aggressive’ literally means ‘ready or likely to attack’. As the name suggests, aggressive peridontitis is a severe form of periodontal disease with a rapid course of progression in younger individuals. It is more prevalent in younger age groups, especially in females. It requires a complex treatment approach and its stabilization often requires surgical management.
Here,we are presenting report of two cases of generalized aggressive periodontitis, successfully managed by only non-surgical periodontal treatment and long term follow up at frequent interval.
