Abstract

Support mechanisms for renewable energy power plants have failed many times in different geographies according to different market parameters. The system being implemented in Turkey has its own problems. The problems of the support mechanism in the study are defined in different planes and a new model proposal based on efficiency and capacity criteria and based on hourly reconciliation are made. In the scenario studies using the generation and cost data between 2012 and 2017, the solution sets that reduce the total cost and increase the earnings of the power plants participating in the support are defined.
